Miller Electric Unified Visual Brand Language
Known as the "Blue Box", the team was tasked with developing a brand language that brought unity across Miller's several product segments and 100s of products. The Visual Brand Language (VBL) needed built in flexibility that could be tailored depending on product type and market served. The visual characteristics needed to embody the attributes Miller is known for such as heritage and durability while expanding in high tech application and serving future forward customers. During the program, the VBL was applied and visualized across several products and documentation was delivered to roadmap future products, covering consideration such as product architectures, venting patterns, control and interface graphics, color application and ratio, materials, finishes, brand and logo mark placement and scale.
